What is Breathwork – and why does it work so deeply

Breathwork is a physical and experiential practice based on conscious breathing techniques with the aim of deep emotional release and neurosomatic reregulation. It is not a relaxation technique, but a whole process of self-healing that activates the body's innate ability to process and release mental traumas, blocked emotions, limiting beliefs, chronic stress, fears and phobias.

Body memory

Everything we have experienced – whether we consciously understand it or not – is stored in our bodies. This somatic memory does not "speak" with words but with sensations: a tightness in the chest, a lump in the stomach, chronic pain, muscle tension, stress in the nervous system, psychosomatic symptoms or a feeling of constant internal pressure.

Unlike purely mental approaches (such as psychotherapy), Breathwork starts with the body and ends in the mind — not the other way around. By activating specific breathing patterns, we give the body the "signal" that it is safe to feel, express and eliminate what it has repressed or trapped in the subconscious.

How does our technique work

The method we use is based on Circular Conscious Connected Breathing – a rhythmic, repetitive breathing that acts as a physical "bridge" between the conscious and the unconscious.

During the internship:

  1. The parasympathetic nervous system (i.e. the "state of calm and recovery") is activated,

  2. The flow of oxygen to the tissues and brain increases,

  3. Safe neurological conditions are created for the release of trapped memories or emotions without the need for verbal analysis,

  4. And most of all, the person experiences a deep state of embodied presence— s/he returns "home", to Self.

The Science Behind Breathwork

Modern studies show that conscious breathing:

  1. Reduces cortisol (stress hormone) levels,

  2. Regulates cardiac variability (HRV), an indicator of neural resilience,

  3. It activates the central vagus nerve, key to psychosomatic balance,

  4. And it can reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD, and somatic mental trauma.

It is essentially a natural tool for self-regulation of our nervous system, accessible to everyone, without medication or surgery. ([Sources: Harvard Health, NIH, Cleveland Clinic, Healthline, AWCIM])

Why Breathwork is so effective

It's as simple as it sounds:

As long as I breathe, I change.

The strength of Breathwork is its experiential nature. I don't have to analyze everything to heal myself. It is not necessary to find "the why" for each emotion. I breathe and allow my body to lead me to the solution — or more correctly, to the integration of experience.

Change does not come from the mind. It comes when the body feels safe. And then, the difficult becomes simple. The heavy becomes light. The past no longer defines the present.

Who is Breathwork for

This practice is addressed to you if:

  1. You feel blocked but you don't know exactly why,

  2. You have tried psychotherapy but you feel that "it does not reach the body",

  3. You want to reduce stress, overwork or insomnia without medication,

  4. You want to build a deeper connection with yourself,

  5. You feel ready to indulge in an experience beyond words.

And finally...

Breathwork is not a technique. It is a return to breathing, to the wisdom of the body, to silence in the noise. It's a natural, non-invasive way to release everything you no longer need and reconnect with who you are: calm, complete, present.

You breathe — and you heal. You breathe — and you remember yourself.

Introductory Breathwork Workshop

"From Stress to Trust"

We invite you on an experiential journey back to the body, to presence and to inner peace.
The introductory Breathwork workshop “From Stress to Trust” is an invitation to meet ourselves more deeply and discover how breathing can become a bridge between tension and calm, between fear and trust.

Within a framework of safety and acceptance, we will work with:

- Circular Conscious Breathing (Breathwork) – to allow the body to discharge accumulated tension and open space for more flow.
- Grounding, play and experiential exercises – to rediscover the joy of connection and the naturalness of expression.
- Working with the body – because the body remembers, and through movement and sensation we learn to listen to it again.
- Simple techniques and practical breathing tools – so you can integrate them into your daily life and regulate your nervous system naturally.

As we explore how stress is born and stored within us, we will learn to recognize the body's cues and move from tension to trust. Through experience, movement, breath, and sharing, we create a space where we can remember our natural flow, the truth, and the freedom that already exists within us.

BK Breathwork workshops -   Part A'

The 4 two-day BK Breathwork workshops are not just a series of experiential seminars. It is a path of restoration and reconnection with the self, which unfolds step by step through the body, breath, memory and heart.

These workshops are a way to share with you our own experience of transformation, not as a "technique", but as an experience and fruit of personal labor. It is our invitation to meet where the body remembers and the soul breathes again.

The structure of the circle is based on a deep trust - that life inside us knows. It knows when to show, when to unblock, when to breathe again.

In each weekend, we touch on a different theme: from grounding and boundaries, to desire, shame, money, our voice, sexual energy, physical memory and mental integration.

We do not "work" only with concepts. Through conscious breathing techniques, body awareness exercises, thematic dialogues, experiential processes and sharing cycles, we open up space for:

·        Unloading old emotional load

·        Liberation from limiting beliefs

·        Mild deconstruction of traumatic patterns

·        Recovering Inner Strength and Boundaries

·        Contact with joy and authenticity

·        Cultivating inner strength, well-being, and trust in the flow of life

You don't need to have any prior experience. Only the intention to be real with what appears. The body knows. Breath knows. Experience leads.

This cycle is an invitation: To slowly let go of what you are not.
And remember... who you are when you are Present.

1st Weekend: Body & Safety

The journey back to the body begins.

Experiential exercises, grounding, breathing and connection.
We learn to feel safe within ourselves, to set boundaries with the body, to return to the here and now.
And at the end of each day, a guided breathwork practice helps us release what weighs us down and feel ourselves again.

Is our body our home? Let's find out...

1st Weekend: My Relationship with Others

What am I afraid of when the other person "sees" me?
What kind of relationship do I really want?

An experiential two-day event dedicated to human contact.
With exercises of connection, sharing, grounding, and conscious presence, we touch closeness without fearing it.

And at the end of each day, through Cyclical Connected Breathwork, we give space to what we have been holding inside us — to breathe, to be released, to be heard.

Because authentic relationships begin when we return... to ourselves.

2nd Weekend: From Anger to Strength

Anger is not an enemy. It is a compass.

Experiential exercises, grounding, voice, body.
We learn to express “no” without guilt — and to find the “yes” that lies behind it.

Each day ends with Breathwork - Circular Connected Breathing, so that we can leave space for the body to unwind, release, and breathe.

We no longer keep inside ourselves what weighs us down.
We honor them. We express them. And we move forward.

2nd Weekend: Money & Self-Value

What does money have to do with our self-value?
In this experiential two-day retreat, we deeply explore our connection to well-being — not just material, but emotional and existential.

Through grounding, experiential exercises and Breathwork – Circular, Connected Breathing, we come into contact with our value, desire, boundaries and comfort in receiving.

We release beliefs that limit abundance and connect with trust in life and its support.

3rd Weekend: Enjoyment of Life & Sexuality

How freely do we allow ourselves to enjoy life?
In this two-day workshop we connect with vital energy, desire and intimacy, exploring what blocks the flow of pleasure in our bodies and lives.

Through experiential exercises and Breathwork – Circular Connected Breathing, we focus on vulnerability as a bridge of connection and on pleasure as a natural right.

We leave behind shame, internal "have to" and fear, and allow ourselves to be seen, to feel, to live.

3rd Weeken: Loss & Grief

What do we do when something is lost?
During this two-day period, we stand with compassion and presence in the face of loss – not to forget, but to honor what was.

Through grounding, experiential exercises and Breathwork, we create a safe space for mourning. A space where grief is recognized as an expression of love and not as a weakness.

We learn to live with what was lost — not to erase it , but to incorporate it with truth, vulnerability, and strength.

4th Weekend: Authenticity & Expression

What has remained silent inside you?
This two-day event is an invitation to give voice to your truth — without filters, without shame.

Within a safe circle, through experiential exercises and Breathwork, we create space for freedom, presence and authentic expression.

We don't need to "shout" to be heard.
We just need to be ourselves.

4th Weekend: I Remember the Vision of my Soul

The journey concludes with a return to the deepest calling of our soul.

In this two-day retreat, we let go of control and trust life to lead us to the next step — with inner guidance and not out of fear.

Through experiential exercises, visualizations and Breathwork, we connect with the wisdom within us and discover our life's purpose.

Not to become something else — but what we already are.
