The power of the Mind and thoughtforms

         Logos as thought and as speech is the gift of the Soul to people. The possibilities provided by the use of this gift and its effect on our environment are of utmost importance and yet to date little has been understood.

Thought is the arrangement of an idea, the transfer of an idea from the Oneness-Spirit to the Multiplicity-Matter. In other words, it is the ability of man to take the idea and transfer it to his fields of perception. Since the idea is something symbolized by the Monad and is characterized by indeterminacy, in order to understand it we need to subject it to some kind of processing, through which we will transfer it to the level of multiplicity and give it form. This form is called the lack of a better term, for now, thoughtform.

This ability of formation makes man the creator of himself as a Personality but also of his environment, i.e. the three worlds of apparent appearance (physical - emotional - mental). The gift of the Logos reveals the truth of the term "In the image and likeness" since it is exactly in same way the Planetary Logos creates the worlds in which we live, move and have our being.

The understanding of this divine potential and its correct use has not reached the desired point and for the time being as humanity we are abusing it, distorting the truth.  However, by studying the main points of White Magic or the construction of beneficial thought-forms (terms synonymous esoterically) for the evolution of the consciousness of all kingdoms, we will be given the opportunity to re-approach this science and why not use it, in this new era of Aquarius and the 7th Ray, to build a new civilization.

We are told that every thought and every desire of man build a form. This form is an entity of a very low level of consciousness. The life and power of this entity depends on the power of thought that created it. The building blocks of thought-forms are mental, astral and etheric matter plus the Life principle. They rarely take physical matter and therefore physical form since the  Words of Power were removed from the memory of humanity in the time of the Atlantean race due to the not so prudent use of humans at the time. The percentage of matter of each plane that will be contained in each form depends on the cause that created it. This forces us to divide thought-forms into two main categories. The forms of desires-thoughts and the forms of thoughts-desires.

When desire is the original cause, we will have the creation of a form of desire-thought which will have a high concentration of astral matter under a certain vibration having as its core a mental matter which is concerned with how this desire will be satisfied. In this case, the first role is played by desire and the second role is played by thought. In this way, we create a thought-form where, as long as we respond to its presence and do not deny it the communication, we feed it with psychic matter and energy and activate it more and more.

The more it is activated, the more it affects us so that it is not possible to resist its pressure.  All these desires, which gradually become passions and manias, are essentially hypertrophied thought-forms of the above kind and which are separate, almost eternal beings. They start from a desire which, constantly fueled, end up becoming an unbridled force, acting uncontrollably on us and around us. The question is reasonable. What relationship does a hypertrophied thoughtform have or develop with other people? The answer is that it connects to other people as long as they have similar forms or vibrations with this kind of thoughtforms.  It crashes into them, brings about a result in them, commensurate with the situation in which they are and depending of course on the potential of the thought-form itself, and finally it returns.  It will always return and remain around its creator in his etheric body.  It returns and enters through the seven energy centers-gates that our body has.  It operates within us with as much negativity as it has been constructed, and even multiplied.

A thought-form in the first phase of its creation is the size of a pin head. Its exit from the etheric body takes place from the center of the forehead and rapidly grows and takes on the size of the content of desire.   That is, it acquires the physical size of the core of desire and always tends to realize the purpose which it was created for.

The second category is that of the forms of thoughts - desire. Here the original cause is thought which is clothed with the necessary amount of astral matter (which we by the way call interest) and materialized in the etheric plane using part of our etheric energy. This kind of thought-forms are structured by rational and advanced personalities since they do not have as a springboard the satisfaction of individual, separating desires, but the settlement of group needs and plans. In other words, when the mind of man is not colored but colors desire, then it means that the Soul rules and the white magician has taken the appropriate place. The forms of thoughts-desires do not have as immediate effects as the previous category, but their power is greater and more stable.

Somewhere here there is a need to add a third category, the group thought-forms, which will obviously include both previous categories but on a much larger scale. A thought-form that is in space and always close to its creator has the ability, through the phenomenon of coordination, to merge with similar others of the same content that have been constructed by other people. Then we have the creation of a large mass of thought-forms that concern a specific space.  There are masses of combined thought-forms that concern an entire city or even an entire nation.                     

These masses exert a manifold effect on people in general. Thought-forms of violence, crime, sexual abuse, which are a combination of the individual thought-forms created by individuals  float like a cloud over these people.  They then influence the weak, i.e. the susceptible personalities, and come and impose themselves tyrannically, forcing them to tune in to these thoughtforms, creating situations of slavery to a group of people.

This is the second phase of the danger that the wider space runs from the manufacturers of negative thoughtforms. There is also the third phase, when a huge cloud of similar such thought-forms gathers over a city or a country, then the interest of some negative entity that is likely to occupy this mass will certainly move. From that moment on, things become extremely difficult for this area and no ordinary person can effectively help deal with this smog. 

After all this, we see that we have responsibilities for everything that happens around us, responsibilities that start from the creation of personal thought-forms and those that proceed to deal with similar thought-forms of other people. If we maintain a positive and conscious presence in our environment, we can have similar results. This is where the role of the world's disciples comes in, who are charged with the task of creating a thought-sphere that will influence the human race by leading it steadily under the inspiration of the Hierarchy towards the spiritual realm. This project hides many difficulties, not because inspiration is lacking but because the subtle glamours of the disciples hinder team collaboration and development.  These are nothing more than thought-forms (individual and group) which, due to the strong intellect of the students, have greater power.

Perhaps it is worth reflecting on the fact that young people are no longer attracted to esoteric teachings, or at least to the way in which they have been rendered. What is this thought-form, which we have structured, which repels instead of attracts? Does it involve inner dogmatism or an isolation from the brethren that we may classify at a lower level of consciousness? There is a possibility that in our attempt to ground ideas, the simplicity of truth is lost in the complexity of explanation.

In any case, a healthy attitude is required that can over time bring about the dissolution of any obstructive thoughtform. Christ asked His disciples not to tune in to "mute and deaf spirits" (as He called them), that is, any forms of desires-thoughts, telling them "Be aware and pray". Essentially, he laid the foundations for them of the alert conscious presence and the effort to keep the mind firmly in the light. And this is the attitude of the seeker of the Truth (that is, what is required from the humblest zealot to the Logos Himself). No matter where we stand, research is how we move forward, but not on our own behalf but for our brothers and sisters. Research inside and outside of us. Research away from our limiting knowledge. Research outside the beliefs that imprison the truth. Research beyond the words of the Masters that we accept effortlessly. Research to pave our own way to the great center of absorption.

Search to conquer the Kingdom of Heaven by force.  Research – and students become Masters and Master students. This is how we will come to say "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life".
